A Shift for the CSHP eBulletin

Jody Ciufo, MBA

Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists

As we begin a new membership year, it’s an ideal time to take a look at the status quo and make some “new year’s resolutions.” Let’s start with our weekly eBulletin. We have a loyal readership, and we want to build on that to provide a stronger sense of connection with our readers.

Changing the name from eBulletin to Interactions makes sense, especially after hearing from our members about their everyday professional experiences.  We think this is a fitting name because it applies to the pharmacy team members as they interact with one another, other professionals and patients in hospitals and collaborative settings. The term interactions also speaks to the power of drug interplay and the leading role pharmacy plays in maximizing benefits and minimizing harm associated with medication use.

In addition to a new name, look and feel, we are bringing you Interactions - News from CSHP every two weeks with an emphasis on fresh content that resonates with our members and supporters. Speaking of brand new content, check out CSHP’s even bigger resolution our new Strategy Towards Sustainability.

Please let us know how you like the changes. Let’s make our Interactions two-way!
