Continuing Education Travel Grant

The Continuing Education Travel Grant provides supplementary funding that helps CSHP members in each branch who receive the grant to attend conferences and educational events of relevance to their pharmacy practice.
The annual grant will be available to members from
May 1 to April 30.
Criteria
To be eligible, each candidate must:
- Be a pharmacist, pharmacy technician, or student pharmacist member of CSHP; and
- Attend an in-person educational event that is relevant to their pharmacy practice and for which the costs incurred to attend are not fully paid by their employer or by other means.
- Incur an expense within the grant term - May 1 to April 30. Expenditures must take place by April 1. Pre-paid conference fees and travel expenses are acceptable for events taking place between April 1-30.
- Use their funding within the grant term. Travel grants cannot be extended into the next fiscal year. If a candidate is unable to use their funding, it will be offered to someone else.
Application Process
All branches advertise and administer the Continuing Education Travel Grant program annually within their respective branches
Each branch determines the specific criteria for awarding the grant funds and the value of each grant awarded.
Grant funds are paid to the winners upon submission of receipts for registration and/or other costs incurred by the member to attend a pharmacy-related event. Claims must be submitted within 30 days of incurring the expenses, and all claims must be received by April 1 of each year.
