Student Supporter

Student membership is for pharmacy and pharmacy technician students (or equivalent) enrolled in a first professional degree or diploma program.  
Membership expires on June 30.  

Membership is free for students in the first year of their program. Students in the second year of their program pay $35 plus tax.  
Afterwards, Students pay an annual fee of $65 plus tax. 

Students can apply for complimentary CSHP membership during the first year of their program.   
Students in the second, third, fourth, and fifth year of their program are required to pay dues as outlined below:

Isabella is a pharmacy student at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, with a background in biological sciences from Vancouver Island University in her hometown of Nanaimo, BC. She brings experience from community, hospital, and regulatory pharmacy practice settings, and has a strong leadership background involving professional advocacy and interdisciplinary collaboration. She is passionate about CSHP’s mission and vision, and looks forward to increasing student engagement and further advancing pharmacy practice.

Before you apply

 

Students who are studying to become a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician can apply for complimentary CSHP membership during the first year of their program.  
Students in the second, third, fourth, and fifth year of their program are required to pay dues.  

Verification of enrollment 
All students must provide their student I.D. when applying for student membership.

Student membership is intended for students working toward an entry-to-practice degree or diploma  
If you are a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician who is pursuing additional certification (credentials, qualifications, and designations), apply for an "In-Training" membership here. 

Pro-rating of student fees 
Students who are joining for the first time or renewing a membership that has been lapsed for at least 18-months qualify for pro-rating.
